Reykjavik Art Museum
Visual Identity Refresh and Animation
2019
Reykjavík Art Museum (RAM) is a leading art museum in Iceland, housed in three distinctive locations in central Reykjavík—Hafnarhús, Kjarvalsstaðir and Ásmundarsafn.
The original logomark by Karlssonwilker became an identifiable symbol to be used as an indicator and directive arrow, leading visitors to each of the museums.
While it was designed with a extruded profile, the logomark was never shown as a live object, only through pseudo-dimensional renders. In 2020, I helped create a system utilize the triangle as an object in space, expanding RAM's visual vocabulary with energetic animations and bolder colors.
Role: Creative coding, design
